Wildwood - Kent

Wildwood is always looking for volunteers to work around the park and we can cater for all abilities, and levels of experience. Wildwood is very popular so we do operate waiting lists.

There are three ways that people can volunteer:

1. If you have no experience or have special needs then "Friends of Wildwood" may be just the group for you. Bob Salter leads ‘Friends of Wildwood' and he organises work parties to help look after enclosures and give a hand with looking after our guests on busy days. You must be over 18 and you need to either leave a message for Bob at the shop or contact us on info@wildwoodtrust.org

2. If you have experience as a keeper or maintenance then our keeper or ranger team may be able to make use of your talents. You will need to complete the form below and return it to keepers@wildwoodtrust.org . You will need to be over 18 except if you are on a recognised animal care course and then you can be 16 or over.

3.If you are looking for work experience then you will need to complete the form below and return it to Anne at anne@wildwoodtrust.org . You will need to be over 16.

FUND RAISING VOLUNTEERS: -Wildwood, Kent

Wildwood relies very heavily on the generosity of its' members, visitors and givers. Without the funds that these activities generate then Wildwood would be unable to continue its' important work.

We are currently seeking to create a core of committed and enthusiastic people to fund raise for Wildwood. This group would plan and execute findraising programmes and events.

Do you have some spare some time to help carry out a range of charity fundraising events that will bring in additional funds to Wildwood?

Would you like to gain experience in the field of charity fundraising?

If so then you may be able to help us. You could be part of Wildwood's efforts to conserve British wildlife and protect endangered species of animals and the natural environment for the benefit of future generations so please call Beth on 01227 712111 or beth@wildwoodtrust.org to find out more.
