Every day in the UK, all across the country, hundreds and thousands of husbands wake up to the same sweet endearments: "Good morning darling........., how are you today gorgeous? Would you like some breakfast?".
Of course the wives are talking to the cat.........!
And who can blame them? I have never met a cat I didn't like (can't say the same about people!), but whilst there are hundreds of thousands of cats in the UK living in very comfortable homes, with well-trained humans, there are thousands in sanctuaries and rescue centres all over the country, just waiting for someone to come along, take them home and love them.
On this website I hope to introduce you to a host of feline beauties that are waiting for that special someone and that someone could be YOU. Go along to one of the many open days hosted locally and p-p-p- pick up a pussycat!!
If you would like to see the love of your life on this site, please send a photo and short biography to: mypussycat@logon2pets.co.uk.
In the meantime, let me introduce you to mine..........

Love at first miaow!
Amy is the most beautiful cat in the world - no question. She came to live with us just over a year ago when she was around five or six, having been rescued from a lady similar to 'The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe' - (she had so many animals - around 200! - she didn't know what to do!).
In anticipation of Amy's arrival, I bought a luxurious, snug, furry, state-of-the-art cat igloo which she took one sniff of before walking off in the opposite direction, never to go near it again. I bought her all manner of delicious, inviting gourmet cat foods which she delighted in projectile vomiting on the carpet, and I bought her an array of toys that many moggies would envy, but the fickle feline only likes 'the one with red feathers and bells on' (when she feels like it!).
Nothing is more relaxing than stroking Amy's fur and hearing her purr (surely one of the best sounds in the world?), and I love it when she sleeps on my bed - curled up on my legs (so that I can't move), or on my head (so I can't breathe!) and on Sunday mornings, we snuggle up in bed together while I read the newspapers.

Amy comes to greet me the second I come in through the door and frequently talks to me. I bought a book called 'How to Talk to Your Cat' (it's nice to have a second language), and we now have meaningful discussions about mice, what's for dinner, other cats and even dogs!
When not sleeping, Amy likes to roam the garden (as long as 'The Black Cat' is not around), having the fur on her chin brushed and tickled, and watching other cats on TV while downing a pint. Amy is a Ragdoll and, true to nature, has a very laid back 'cool cat' attitude. If I get my bearded dragons out, she merely sniffs them or watches in amusement if they head bob thinking this must be the latest dance.
I know there are many dog lovers out there who are mystified by a cat owner's devotion to an animal that can't be trained, can't be taken for walks and won't 'fetch', but without wishing to be catty, Amy has just one thing to say to them: "Who needs dogs anyway?".
